Thank you for your support and prayers! We are sustained by them. We are so grateful for the sacrificial giving of money, prayer, and encouragement that allows our family to be here on the ground.
- Language school has started for Zac, Leigh, Grace, and Bryce. Zac and Bryce attend the morning session from 8-12, while Leigh and Grace attend the afternoon session from 1-4. All is going well there, but it is mentally draining.
- God continues to protect our health as there have not been any significant issues with health :).
- Language school is taxing, so we find ourselves being short and lacking grace with one another. Please pray that we would get the necessary rest and be loving towards one another.
- The neighborhoods here are very close knit with frequent meetings among women or men, field trips, and generally caring for one another. Please pray that we would be able to engage and become part of this local community to learn their culture and love them.
Here is a photo of Bryce at language school describing in Indonesian what he did the previous day (e.g. what time he woke up, what he ate for breakfast….). Indonesian teachers are in the back row, and our classmates are in the front row. The class is taught in 90% Indonesian/10% English. Our classmates are Korean, which makes us thankful that we at least get 10% of our class in English. We don’t complain to them about language learning being hard :).

We intend for this communication to be a quick snapshot of where we are in the process of going to Indonesia so that you can be in prayer and we can stay connected with the body of Christ that are sending us
