January was a month of full of transition for our family, and we are so grateful for your prayers and encouragement. In the past month we have witnessed God provide for each need and move our family along in this process.
First, we closed on the sale of our home. This process was an encouragement to us and went very well. We also moved in with Leigh’s parents in Portage. God has given us very gracious hosts, and we feel loved and cared for by family. We have also seen God provide 100% of our monthly support requirement, and as a result we have applied for Visas to begin life in Indonesia!
The Visa process is quite lengthy, and we are required to have Student Visas issued by the Indonesian government in order to begin language school. Please pray for our visas to be processed and that we will be able to depart at the end of April for a May language school start.
Zac’s last day of work at MPI Research will be this Friday. His transition is going very well so far. His fellow employees and managers have been a great encouragement to us.
We will leave soon for four weeks of training at MTI (Missions Training International) in Colorado. Please pray for our family to have safety during the lengthy drive. Please also pray for us to all learn and grow in ways that will allow us to serve God well when we enter our new culture.
Our outgoing fund has now increased to 82% funded. We are grateful! This is the fund that provides for one time needs when we first get to Indonesia (i.e. Language School expenses, transportation for our family, furniture, etc.) Please continue to pray that God will work through His people to bring more partners for this work.
We are excited to be serving the Lord with our lives. We are so grateful to each family and individual for praying, caring, and encouraging us along the way. We are grateful to be a part of Body of Christ.
We were able to get a away to Schaumburg, Illinois for an overnight stay recently. The kids really enjoyed the hotel pool!
