November 2015 Update

Thank you for your interest in God’s work in Indonesia. Thank you for your continued prayer on behalf of our family and the people of Indonesia. God continues to provide encouragement and support as we walk this road of raising support. God has answered our prayers for increased prayer and financial support. We now have over 340 individuals that are receiving regular prayer updates from us.

In the next few months our family must begin to make some major logistical decisions – moving out of our home, ending employment, applying for visas, etc. but these are dependent on the financial support team being finalized. If you are considering being used as a financial partner, we ask that you please let us know by Thanksgiving, if possible. A friend wrote a gracious and helpful blog article on what it means to be a part of a sending team for missionaries. We hope you are all encouraged to get involved in worldwide missions in some way!

This past month we participated in two different missions conferences. We also participated in a full week of training with our sending agency TEAM in Wheaton, Illinois. We are praising God for the many families we have met that have a genuine interest and desire to see God’s name known all over the earth. Our monthly support is now up to 73%! We are so thankful to have met so many wonderful people over the last month.

Please pray with us for the remaining 27% in regular on-going support and for the following items:

  • On Sunday, November 8 will be presenting the ministry at Reformed Baptist Church here in Kalamazoo.
  • On Monday, November 23 we will be presenting to a committee at Calvary Church in Grand Rapids.

We are praying that we will be clear communicators of what God has called us to, that the Body of Christ will be encouraged to hear of His work, and that new partnerships will be made.

‚ÄčAs always, if you have any questions or concerns, please ask. If you are interested in hearing more of the story, please contact us.
