Our family is very grateful for the prayers and care offered as we head towards life in Indonesia as missionaries at the Well of Joy Community Center. The month of August was encouraging, and we feel blessed by all God has done for us. Thank you for your continued prayers!
We began the month sharing the ministry with Northbridge Church and Springview Community Church. Throughout the month we enjoyed meals with seven different families in order to share the work that God is calling us to. We also were able to experience one last week of family vacation at Gull Lake Ministries. This annual vacation is the location where we first felt our call to missions work in Indonesia (back in 2014).
We had requested prayer previously that we could be at 60% support by the end of the summer in order to attend Pre-Departure Orientation with our mission agency (TEAM) in October. We are praising God that those prayers have been answered with a YES, and we will be attending orientation in October!! Thank you for your prayers!
We are continuing to ask for prayer that God will lead us to the team of people that He intends to use for both financial and prayer support for this work. We have added several people this past month to our prayer and financial support team, and we are thankful! We are boldly asking God for another 10% of our required support by the end of September. Will you pray with us?
Our teammates Jake and Sara Tibbe are at 68% of support and will be attending orientation training in October along with us. We are thankful God is providing our support together at this point!
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please ask! If you are interested in hearing more of the story, please contact us! If you are interested in joining the team as a financial partner, please use the tab called “GIVE” at the top.
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen”
