Prayer and Pictures

Our family is continuing to adjust to ‘normal’ life having been back together for the last week now. Zac and I continue to adjust to normal sleep patterns…getting back on schedule from the 13 hour time zone difference has been a little harder than we thought! The kids made it through a week of school relatively well after having two weeks off.

As we begin this week we are focused on prayer in several areas. Would you pray with us?

  1. That Zac would have focus and diligence in his place of employment. That Leigh would be focused and patient while homeschooling the children.
  2. That we would have a Spirit-driven passion as we go forward with raising monthly support. We have started a 13-week session with a support-raising coach to help us better understand how to share God’s work in a meaningful way.
  3. That both sets of our parents would continue to have peace and understanding as they process what our move to Indonesia means to them.
  4. That God will provide contacts with individuals, groups, and churches in order to share our story and boldly ask for prayer and monetary support.

Thank you for your interest, prayer, and encouragement!

Trip Focus:

Our hearts were bursting with love for the many children we saw while visiting Indonesia. Many of the children seemed to have ample free time. Of the children we spoke with, we found that school days typically last 3 hours. The classrooms we viewed were very unlike American classrooms. We look forward to working with these children to provide tutoring in math and reading, English conversation practice, music and art opportunities, basketball and other sports opportunities, and anything else we can!
