Leaning further into God

Arriving in Manokwari, the first 24 hrs were unsettling/discouraging.

The lack of Western comforts, missing our kids, heat/humidity, smells of burning garbage, beautiful shorelines littered with garbage and waste, and the process of over-writing the visions we had in our minds with reality forced us to continue to lean further into God.  We spent time seeking God Sunday morning with the Tibbes and were comforted to know that God not only hears our prayers, but acts as well to bring Himself more glory.
